Very interestingly, the former Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank’s last task was the announcement of JEE Mains dates for April and May sessions. But he has not made an announcement of the NEET exam. As the Modi government reshuffle happened, and Dharmendra Pradhan has taken charge as Education Minister. So, students are that Pradhan’s first task might be the giving the clarity on NEET examination.
A student Ajit P. said, “As the New Education Minister has appointed, I am really expecting the NEET exam dates announcement.” The same hopes are shared by the students while interacting.
He also said, “Former minister Dr. Pokhriyal started student’s interaction and it is good. I hope the new minister follows this. But, as of now, just expecting the news of the NEET 2024 Exam Date.”
This year, for the NEET 2024 exam, nearly 16 lakh students are waiting. The exam scheduled date is 01st August 2024. But the registration has not opened till now.
Apart from the NEET examination, so many challenges are there for the new Education Minister. In the past eighteen months, across the country, all schools have been closed. Exams were canceled. Fears of the third wave are there, students are dropping out from education, education continuation is a massive concern.
