NEET EXAM ENTRANCE TO BE HELD ON SEPT 12
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has announced that the NEET entrance test will be held on September 12 and students who want to appear for the exam can apply from tomorrow. Schools and colleges in the country have been closed for months due to the impact of the corona and lessons have been cruel to this situation, the country was terribly affected by this corona 2nd wave which started last April. Thus all +2 selections were canceled. Many people like politicians, actors, activists opposed the NEET exam due to this pandemic.
In this context, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the NEET examination will be held on September 12, and students who want to write the exam can apply from tomorrow. Due to the spread of Corona Exam centers increased from 155 to 198. Minister also told that more exam centers are to be availed to students this year.
He also said that the students must follow the instructions and rules regarding Covid strictly(mask, social distancing, sanitizing etc). Students who want to write the exam can download the application form for the NEET exam from 5 pm tomorrow on the NTA website.
As it has been announced that the NEET examination will be held on September 12, the Minister of Health Ma Subramanian has said that the students of Tamil Nadu should be prepared for the NEET examination and the government will continue to train the students till the NEET examination is exempted. Commenting on the announcement, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramaniam said, “A panel headed by retired Judge AK Rajan was set up to look into the NEET exam. The case is being heard by the BJP’s Karu Nagarajan in the Chennai High Court tomorrow.
The decision of the Government of Tamil Nadu
The decision of the Government of Tamil Nadu in the matter of NEET examination, in this case, will be announced later. It is the policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu not to choose NEET. The President has not yet approved the resolution sent by the Government of Tamil Nadu insisting that NEET should be exempted from the examination
The last entrance exam was in 2006. The entrance examinations were canceled on the basis of a report issued by a panel then headed by Justice Ananda Krishnan. The Government of Tamil Nadu is continuing to take all measures to ensure that the NEET examination does not take place.
