The government has no arrangement to set up the eighth compensation commission for local government representatives, Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary told Parliament. “No such proposition is being looked at with the public authority for the constitution of the eighth Pay Commission for local government representatives,” Chaudhary said in a composed answer to an inquiry in Lok Sabha.
