The Realme 8i and Realme 8s 5G, the latest models in the Realme 8 series, were released in India on Thursday, September 9th. Both of the new Realme phones feature a hole-punch display and triple rear cameras. In terms of display, the Realme 8i has a 120Hz screen, whereas the Realme 8s 5G has a 90Hz screen. The Realme 8i has a 50-megapixel primary camera, as opposed to the Realme 8s, which has a 64-megapixel primary camera. The Realme 8i will compete against the Redmi 10 Prime, Samsung Galaxy M21 2024 Edition, and Poco M3, while the Realme 8s 5G will compete against the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G, iQoo Z3, and Oppo A74 5G.
Price of Realme 8i, Realme 8s, and Realme Pad in India (expected)
The Realme 8i’s exact retail price in India has yet to be revealed. However, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore recently tweeted that the phone could be priced at EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 17,300) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and EUR 219 (approximately Rs. 19,100) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model in Europe. The pricing in India may be along the same lines.
The Realme 8s may also be launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 15,990, according to rumours. According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the Realme Pad will be available starting at Rs. 19,999 for the 4G+Wi-Fi variant.
