The Hyundai i20 N Line has been launched in India, with ex-showroom prices ranging from 9.84 lakh to 11.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Hyundai i20 N Line will be available in three trim levels: N6 iMT, N8 iMT, and N8 DCT. It is essentially a sportier version of the Hyundai i20 premium hatchback. It is the entry-level model in Hyundai’s N Line division in India, and it is available only in the top-of-the-line 1.0-litre GDI Turbo iMT and DCT variants. It appears to be very sporty and quite sexy, and it will be sold exclusively through Hyundai’s signature dealerships.
The N Line’s exterior changes are limited to cosmetic changes that give it a racy and sporty appearance, as well as a recalibrated steering geometry for better feedback and a 30% stiffer suspension setup. A new cascading grille with matte black elements and the N Line logo graces the front end. The aesthetics are then enhanced by a new, more muscular front bumper with sharp lines and edges to match the sporty appearance. There are also sportier alloy wheels and sleek side skirts to complement the front bumper’s diffuser. The dimensions of the i20 N Line will remain the same as the regular i20. The overall length is still 3,995 mm, the width is 1,775 mm, and the height is 1,505 mm. The car’s wheelbase will remain unchanged at 2,580 mm.
Similarly, the interior updates complement the car’s sporty exterior. The cabin is all-black, with black upholstery on the seats and red dual stitching on all soft surfaces. The new flat-bottom steering wheel is also wrapped in leather and has the same red stitching as the seats, and there is prominent N Line badging on the seats, as well as a N inspired gear knob and aluminium pedals, among other things. The feature list is identical to the range-topping Asta trim of the standard i20 Turbo, with creature comforts such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Hyundai’s Bluelink connected car technology, premium Bose surround sound system, wireless charging, auto climate control, cruise control, and ambient lighting, among others.
