Thangaraj (Samuthirakani) is a writer at the police station, who fights in the court for a union for police officers. Enraged by this, the senior officer transfers him to Chennai. He will be involved in framing an innocent youngster under the UAPA act. As a result of this, Thangaraj feels guilt. Will, he comes out of it and save the youngster? this is the basic plot of the Writer movie.
