Gamanam Movie Story
‘Gamanam’ movie is based on three different stories. The first story features Shriya Saran playing a deaf mom who is waiting for her husband to come back from Dubai. In the second story, Ali which is played by Shiva Kandukuri dreams of making it big in the cricketing field. The final story is about two homeless kids having the aim to buy a cake and celebrate their birthday. At the same time, heavy floods also happen in Hyderabad. How do all these different stories face this horrible situation and what happens to them? is the basic plot of the Gamanam movie.
Gamanam Telugu Movie Review: Positive Aspects
- Gamanam is a comeback for Shriya and she is exceptional in this movie. She acted quite well as a deaf and helpless mom
- Priyanka Jawalkar is good but her screen presence is limited
- Shiva Kandukuri gets the good scope to emote and is quite good in all the emotional scenes
- The emotions in the floods related scenes have been showcased on a decent note

The production values of the Gamanam are good and portray the three different stories in a good manner. Camerawork by Gnana Shekar is impressive. BGM and music by legendary Ilaiyaraaja are awesome. The editing of the Gamanam movie could have been better. Director Sujana Rao has not established the required conflict well but her story idea, characterizations, and backdrop are good.
