Madhavan was acted in the lead role. The female lead is Meera Jasmine. In the supporting roles, Anu Haasan, Atul Kulkarni, late actors Vivekh and Raghuvaran were acted.
Mudhalvan
The Mudhalvan is a political action thriller, starring Arjun and Manisha Koirala in lead roles. Shankar directed this movie. This film is a blockbuster and won so much positive response. For the lead role, Rajinikanth was the first choice. Later that, Shankar approached Vijay. But Vijay rejected the film since he was not interested in doing political movies at a young age.
Sandakozhi
The Sandakozhi film was released in 2005, which was directed by N. Lingusamy. To cast Vijay in the lead role, the director narrated the script to him. But Vijay refused to act in this movie. In an Interview with Manaobala’s Waster Paper YouTube channel, Lingusamy said the reason behind Vijay’s refusal. That is, the father character has more importance than the protagonist.
Singam
Directed by Hari, Singam is a 2010 action entertainer, starring Suriya and Anushka Shetty. This movie was remade into some language also. This film is a commercial hit at the box office. Because of some personal reasons, Vijay refused this movie also.
Kaakha Kaakha
The Kaakha Kaakha movie was directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, having the Suriya and Jyothika in lead roles. Before Surya, Gautham approached many top heroes including Thalapathy Vijay. But, Vijay reportedly rejected this movie because the director was not prepared with the story’s climax, at the time of narration.
