It has been reported that the Class 12 results will be released on July 19 (Monday). School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyamozhi today held consultations with top officials regarding the opening of schools in Tamil Nadu. A special consultative meeting organized on behalf of the school education department is being held today on the opening of schools in the current academic year, including student admission. Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyamozhi, School Education Directors, Associate Directors and Primary Education Officers are scheduled to participate in this special meeting.
Meanwhile, Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyamozhi said yesterday that the work of calculating the Class 12 examination marks in Tamil Nadu has been completed and is ready for publication and the Class 12 results will be announced by the end of this month after receiving the order of the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Rangasamy had earlier announced that the first schools and colleges would be reopened in Pondicherry today following the declining corona impact. In this situation, the Puducherry government has abandoned this decision at the last moment and announced that the date for the opening of schools will be released later.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai, Minister Anbil Mahesh said the Chief Minister has been consulted on the opening of schools and the release of Class 12 results. He also said that NEET exam training classes for public school students will be discussed with the district primary education officers in consultation to be held today. In this case, the results of the Class 12 examination will be released on July 19 (Monday). Thus students and parents are excited.

Due to the corona virus infection in Tamil Nadu, the general examination for 10th and 11th class students studying in the academic year 2020-21 has been canceled and all have been declared successful. Class 12 students were scheduled to take the exam in May but the general exam was canceled due to an increase in corona virus infection and all students were made to pass.
In addition, a steering committee was appointed to award marks to the students. Following this, the committee submitted a report to the Chief Minister on June 25 on the awarding of marks. In it, it was announced that 50 per cent of the average marks of the three subjects who got high marks in the 10th class general examination, 20 per cent marks from the 11th class general examination, 30 per cent marks from the 12th class recipe examination and the internal examination would be calculated.
Following this, it has been announced that the results of the examination will be released on July 19 at 11 am as the 12th class marks calculation work has been completed. It has also been announced that they can register their registration and date of birth and download the score sheet for themselves.
