The culprits of collective brutality in Bangladesh on Saturday vandalized six icons of the Daniapara Maha Shoshan Kali Mandir at Rashunia association in Sirajdikhan Upazila of Munshiganj. According to The Daily Star, the defacing was completed between 3 am and; 4 am, affirmed by Md Rashedul Islam, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Sirajdikhan Circle). “The sanctuary had no security, and just the icons were vandalized,” he said.
“The fundamental passage lock was discovered broken and the tin shed was likewise cut and every one of the symbols in the sanctuary have been vandalized,” said Shuvrata Dev Nath Vanu, General Secretary of the Daniapara Mahasmashan Kali Mandir Committee, revealed The Daily Star. “We are getting ready to document an objection with the police,” he said. “A particularly occurrence had never occurred in the sanctuary,” added Shuvrata.
