Mithali Raj: India Skipper Mithali Raj maintained her second spot in the ICC Women’s ODI participant rankings and New Zealand’s Amy Satterthwaite also moved to third position after her splendid show against India.
Mithali made 59 off 73 balls in the primary ODI of the 5 match sequence in Queenstown. Newzealand’s Amy Satterthwaite has overtaken Australia’s Beth Mooney by achieving 13 score factors. Beth’s eleventh ODI hundred had lifted into the world’s prime 20 batters in ODIs.
In the T20I rankings, Beth Mooney is again in the third spot as the high-ranked captain Meg Lanning gains a slot to achieve second place. Currently, India opener Shafali Verma is now third on the list. New Zealand bowler Amelia Kerr is up with 5 positions to eight and her sister Jess Kerr is up by 16 positions to 34.
