Apple MacBook Air: Apple took the WWDC 2024 stage to announce not only new updates like iOS 16 and watchOS 9 but also new hardware, the spotlight of which falls on the new redesigned MacBook Air. What’s new?
The MacBook Air 2024 comes with a larger 13.6-inch display. There is a notch on the display which makes the product look similar to the new 14-inch MacBook Pro. The new Air is 11mm thick and will be available in four colors – space grey, silver, starlight gold, and midnight blue.
Apple claims that the laptop now has 500 nits of peak brightness on the display and the Air also comes with fan less design. Apple suggests that the 2024 MacBook Air performs 40% better than its predecessor.
The notch on the new MacBook Air 2024 also holds a 1080p FaceTime HD webcam now and Apple has also thrown in Dolby Atmos supporting speakers and new microphones in the design now.
A new power adapter that helps charge the MacBook Air to 80% in just 20 minutes is available and it also comes with two USB-C ports.
MacBook Air 2024 Price
The new 2024 MacBook Air M2 starts at 1,19,900 INR and 1,09,900 INR for education. Apple also announced the 13-inch MacBook Pro with M2 which will be available at the price of 1,29,900 INR and 1,19,900 INR for education.
The Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter is priced at an amount of 5800 rupees. The company will start selling the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro variants in India starting next month.
