Apart from causing lesions, it can lead to bright red coloration on the toes and fingers, which turns purple eventually. The dangerous aspect regarding this is it can go from impacting one toe to all the other toes.
Causes
Up to now, no specific causes are listed for this. The research is still going on this. The expert believes that the Covid toes is an immune system’s outcome while reacting to coronavirus infection.

Symptoms
