Aaraattu Movie Story
Aaraattu movie is set in a Palakkad village, where people are renowned for their numerous farming practices. With the new central government mandate of turning any empty and unused plot to be turned into farming land, the villages and Revenue Divisional Officer Sethulakshmi Kaimal reach the wealthiest man in the village to give his 18-acre land to the government. But, to avoid the loss of plot, he decides to sell his property to Neyyattinkara Gopan (Mohanlal). What happens when Gopan arrives to buy? This is the basic plot of the Aaraattu movie.
