CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2024 Newest Update: Reports contended that Nishank might take the last call regarding the conduction of class 12 boards later interacting with education secretaries of states on Monday.
New Delhi: “Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will fulfill almost all state education secretaries on Monday. The top schedule is going to be COVID -19 pandemic, and its effect on education, marketing of internet instruction, execution of the New Education policy and prep made by states,” education ministry sources told ANI.
Amid the growing requirement for cancellation of Class 12 Board examinations 2024 in the wake of the surging coronavirus instances across the nation, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will maintain a critical meeting May 17. Reports promised that Nishank could have the last call regarding the conduction of class 12 boards later interacting with schooling secretaries of all states on Monday. The minister will review the effect of the COVID-19 outbreak on the education industry from the digital meeting. Anyway, he’ll also discuss the promotion of internet education and implementing the New Education Policy (NEP).
In the wake of the next wave of COVID-19, the Union Education Ministry last month canceled the Class 10 CBSE board examination and postponed the CBSE board exam of Class 12, scheduled to begin from May 4, 2024.
Before, the Ministry of Education and CBSE had rubbished reports that claimed the board is planning to scrap/ cancel class 12 board exams. “Discussions concerning the same remain penalized. No such decision was taken regarding CBSE class 12 assessments as theorized in some media sections. Any decision taken in this issue will be hauled to the people”, a Ministry official said.A CBSE official had dismissed reports stating any decision taken in this matter (cancellation of course 12 tests ) will be officially communicated to the general public.
Yesterday, a petition was also filed in Supreme Court seeking the cancellation of Class 12 plank evaluation. “Running Class 12 board evaluation isn’t feasible because of surging COVID-19 cases. Even offline or online examinations not possible due to the pandemic. Delay in the announcement of Class 12 results will hamper pupils taking admission in overseas universities”, the request filed by advocate Mamta Sharma read.
