Major Monica Mehra (Jenifer Winget), who oversees the organisation of the army celebrations of Kargil Diwas, has successfully thwarted the assassination attempt on the Prime Minister. Who is behind the attack? What do they want? The way Monica Mehra reveals the dark truth about the military is the basic plot of the second season of Code M.
Unlike in the first season, where Jenifer takes some time to mature as a character, this is the setting. He could feel that he had tried very hard before, so we’re not now. This is the biggest observation of the series. Jenifer Winget has fewer dramatic and emotional moments today. His part is mostly in action mode, and that’s fine. In small, brighter moments, he felt as comfortable as one would expect. Akshay Choubey is responsible for Code M season two. Unlike the first season, which was a mix of drama and thriller elements, we have a straightforward action thriller. Right since the opening of the assassination block, Code M is about finding the killer.
These processes are fast and range from one slight reversal to another. While it’s a good idea, the content leaves a lot to be desired. We have seen many pieces in the same space that deal with the same problems. After a while, the whole story and script turn out to be routine and is-is-is-such. This leads to complete predictability. Yes, there are twists in the story, but most seem to be miles away. Also, a few decent twists left no trace of the sudden execution. Given the scale, it would be better if they planned it. When the main story gets used to the thriller series, there is hardly a convincing quality. Quick storytelling is a bit light, but it’s just not enough to put things together.
Like many new series, the end of the second season of Code M leaves room for another season. The story revolves around the end but is told intensely. A better kill would end the series remarkably. Overall, Code M Season 2 is a typical action thriller for lovers of the genre. Nothing surprising. For those who are irregular, it offers a rest in between. Try it if you are late.
