Curfew extension in Tamil Nadu till August 9… No relaxations… Some restrictions .. Full details!
Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government has announced that the curfew will be extended till August 9 in Tamil Nadu. According to a statement issued by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin:
The curfew will be extended from 31-7-2024 to 9-8-2024 at 6.00 am without any further relaxation. As relaxations have been announced over the past few weeks, the general population in certain areas of the city is likely to be overcrowded, and therefore the risk of infection is discussed at today’s consultation meeting.
If the relaxations given with the view that the livelihood of the people should not be affected are not properly followed, its consequences will be great. Therefore, the district collectors and the police should take action to strictly enforce the guidelines of the state.
Collectors can decide
In addition, the district collectors/corporation commissioners and the police may decide in the public interest to close the area if large crowds continue to appear in certain areas.
General
* the subsequent important standard guidelines should be followed altogether by permitted shops and public places.
* Hand sanitizers with dispensers must be placed at the entrance of the shop for customer use and must be thermally screened.
* The management of the particular body should concern about the worker’s proper sanitary measures such as wearing masks, sanitizing hands regularly, etc.
Social space
* All shops should operate with proper ventilation and should not allow too many people in the shops to observe social space at the same time.
* When waiting in line for the general public at the entrance of the shops, signs should be put up so that there is enough space between one person and another.
* Action will be taken against businesses / other companies that do not follow the above rules and allow more customers than the permitted number.
Instructions
Policies for detection, detection, treatment, vaccination, and corona vaccination (Test-Track-Treat-Vaccine-Covit-19 Appropriate Behavior) of the affected persons are going to be strictly enforced and leading workers should move therein monitoring.
In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the District Collector and the local bodies should carry out intensive immunization activities in the affected areas.
Other activities are not allowed
* In limited disease control areas, the following disease control measures should be strictly followed.
* Only essential activities should be allowed in disease control areas. In these disease control areas, provision of medical emergency services and essential items are only permitted.
* In disease control areas, the spread of serious infections will be monitored by setting up door-to-door teams.
* Standard guidelines for the various activities permitted must be strictly enforced by the relevant departments.
