SRK finally met his son Aryan Khan, whom he hasn’t seen since he was arrested in the Mumbai cruise drugs case three weeks ago.
SHah Rukh Khan has met his son Aryan Khan, who was detained in the Mumbai cruise drugs case, twice in the last three weeks. According to reports, the father-son meeting on Thursday was emotional for both parties because they had previously only communicated via video call.
On Thursday, Shah Rukh Khan met his son Aryan Khan in the visitation area of the Arthur Road jail, one day after his bail request in the Mumbai cruise drugs case was denied. They communicated through the intercom system. A grill and a glass wall separated them.
According to sources inside the facility, Shah Rukh Khan also inquired about Aryan’s diet, to which the actor was informed that the food served in the facility is not to his liking.
Shah Rukh Khan inquired of the jail officials present if they could obtain homemade food for Aryan. Officials then informed Khan that they required a court order in order to prepare home-cooked meals.
On Thursday, Shah Rukh Khan attempted to give his son strength by spending 15 minutes with him. When asked for additional information, jail officials flatly refused.
A special Mumbai court had denied bail to Aryan Khan and two other men in the Mumbai cruise drugs case the day before the meeting. Aryan Khan then petitioned the Bombay High Court for bail.
An eight-man crew from the Cordelia cruise ship was apprehended late on October 2nd off the coast of Mumbai. The NCB apprehended them the next day.
