SAFETY
- Maruti Suzuki has placed a premium on safety. It’s a part of the Heartect platform.
- The chassis and body panels are made of higher-grade steel, and safety features include six airbags, rear parking sensors and camera, high-speed warning system, immobilizer, ABS, and EBD.
- A single petrol engine will provide power to the 2024 Baleno makeover.
- This 1.2-liter DualJet K12N 4 cylinder engine, which might include a 12V mild hybrid system, will produce 90 horsepower and be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and AMT.
- The manual and AMT models have fuel economy ratings of 22.35 km/l and 22.94 km/l, respectively.
- The Baleno facelift will compete in the premium hatchback segment against the Honda Jazz, Tata Altroz, and Hyundai i20 whenever it is released. Pricing in the range of Rs 6.50 lakh to Rs 10.50 lakh would see a little hike.
