Pudhuchery Open for Tourism with certain conditions
Lock down extended to July 31 with some relaxations. In tourist areas, such as the tourist site Limestone Boat Cruise, 50 percent general public are allowed to enter the site. There was a lock down with some relaxations in Pudhucherry. As the infection decreases in this environment, additional relaxation is allowed. Accordingly , the night-time general freeze will be in effect daily from 10 pm to 5 am. Political, social and entertainment events are regularly banned. All government and private sector offices can operate.
Government Order
All shops and businesses will be allowed to operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., without refrigeration. Retail liquor stores are allowed to open till 9 p.m.
Parks and beach roads are open to the public from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Devotees will be allowed to perform prayers till 9pm. Tourist spots in Pudhucherry are now allowed to visit. In tourist areas, such as the tourist site Limestone Boat Cruise, 50 percent people are only allowed.
