Magha Gupt Navratri 2024: Navratri takes place four times every year. The Navratri that observes in Chaitra and Ashwin is called Pravat Navratri and the one that observes in Magha and Ashada is called Gupt Navratri. This year, the Navratri that is coming in the Magha month will be starting from 2nd February. During Navratri, the nine forms of Goddess Durga, Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skanda Mata, Katyayani, Kalratri, Mahagauri, Siddhidatri, are worshipped.

As per the Hindu calendar, Gupt Navratri of Magha month will be starting from 2nd February (Wednesday) to 11th February. The Ghtasthapana time is 7.09 – 8.31 am on 2nd February.
Magha Gupt Navratri: Rituals
In Gupt Navratri, 10 Mahavidya deities named Tara, Bhuneshwari, Chinnamasta, Kali, Tripura Sundari, Baglamukhi, Tripura Bhairavi, Dhumavati are worshipped.
Tantric worship and rituals play a significant role in Gupt Navratri. Devotees take a vow of fasting with the establishment of Kalash and worship Devi for nine days and in the morning and evening and perform pooja and aarti.
