Actor Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passed away on Monday (June 28) in a private hospital located in Chennai. He was said to have been suffering from a severe lung infection and was under the treatment for the same for the last few months.
Meena married Vidyasagar, who is a businessman based out of Bengaluru in the year 2019 and this couple has a daughter, Nainika.
Meena started her career as a child artist in movies and then she went on to play the leading female roles in the 90s and the late 2000s.
Later, she started playing her age in movies but still managed her position as a leading actress. She recently got success in her Malayalam movies such as Drishyam 1 and Drishyam 2. She was last seen in the Telugu movie titled Son of India.
Following the footsteps of Meena, daughter Nainika also made her screen debut as a child artist. She played the role of Vijay’s daughter in the Tamil movie titled Theri.
Condolences are pouring in from the film industry and fans of Meena.
