MG Comet EV Launch : Buying a new car? But wait… a new electric car is coming from the leading electric vehicle manufacturer (MG Comet). MG Comet EV will be officially launched in the Indian market on April 26. The design of this car is attractive. But, in terms of dimensions, the car is very small.
The three-door electric car comes with a 17.3kWh lithium-ion battery. It has a 42PS/110Nm electric motor. Battery charging time from 0-100 percent comes to 7 hours with a 3.3kW charger. Estimated 5 hours for 10-80 percent. The MG Comet EV range can travel up to 230 km on a single full charge. The MG Comet EV is a compact car similar to the Tata Nano. This electric car measures 2,974mm in length, 1,631mm in height, 1,505mm in width, and has a wheelbase of 2,010mm.
This MG Comet EV features specially designed LED headlamps, LED taillamps, 12-inch wheels. The cabin can easily seat four people including the driver. Bells and whistles features like a 10.25-inch full-digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple iPod-inspired twin-spoke multi-function steering wheel are sure to impress EV buyers.
