There’s a vast difference between smartwatches and traditional mechanical and digital watches. Big Tech giants such as Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi have already developed full features enabled smartwatches and fitness trackers globally. This scenario has impacted drastically for traditional wristwatches. However, Fossil a classic traditional wristwatch company has entered the highly competitive smartwatch industry.
Fossil Group manufactures and licenses wristwatches and smartwatches under various famous brands like Armani, Diesel, and Michael Kors. Michael Kors has launched a new smartwatch under its name as the Michael Kors Gen 6 Bradshaw smartwatch, priced at Rs. 25,000 onwards.

Michael Kors Gen 6 Bradshaw Design
Michael Kors Gen 6 Bradshaw looks and feels just like a traditional mechanical wristwatch with a big metal casing and dial, a crown, and buttons on the right. The Bradshaw comes with a stunning rose gold strap and seamlessly blends with other parts. The new smartwatch does not seem like a smartwatch at first glance.
The Bradshaw is available in a single 44mm single-dial size and four color variants Two-tone (dull gold and silver), rose gold, gold glitz, and lastly rose gold glitz.
Michael Kors Gen 6 Bradshaw Features
The Bradshaw Gen 6 has a 1.28” inch round AMOLED display and Bluetooth 5 for connectivity. The smartwatch is powered by a 4100+ processor with 8GB of internal storage. It also has WiFi connectivity and GPS enabled plus other features such as an accelerometer, compass, altimeter, ambient light sensor, pedometer, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 reading, and sleep monitoring. The two buttons on the side can be used to open certain apps and perform certain functions. The touchscreen can also be used for navigation and there’s also the crown which controls power options and the Google Assistant features through long presses. The built-in speaker is used for relaying verbal responses and playing sounds.
Software, Interface, and Apps
The Bradshaw runs on Google wear OS but this doesn’t mean its compatibility is limited to Android. It has companion apps that make it compatible with IOS as well. Also, it can work as a standalone smartwatch to some extent.
Wear OS is a fully functional platform with its own version of Google Play Store and native Google Apps. You can install YouTube, Maps, Keep, Translate, and many other apps through the play store.
The access app by Michael Kors allows customization on the smartphone such as accessing social media, selecting and syncing new faces for the watches and many other features are available.
Battery Life
Battery life on Bradshaw Gen 6 is quite poor as compared with a full-featured watch such as this. With basic use, users are unable to get even a full day’s worth of battery life. The smartwatch discharges its fully charged battery in around 13-14 hours.
Verdict
There are some flaws and drawbacks to the Michael Kors Gen 6 Smartwatch including fitness and health tracking, and battery life. Moreover, it doesn’t deliver the wear-all-day smartwatch experience. Customers can consider this something with they might want to grab the attention of others and it is more worth a show-off.
