Rajasthan EV Policy – EVs To Receive subsidies of up to ₹20,000: Several Indian states have announced their individual EV policies. Maharashtra, Gujarat, etc were on the list. Recently, Rajasthan also joined that list. The Rajasthan state government intends to boost the mass adoption of electric vehicles via the provision of subsidies on the upfront cost of EVs for early adopters. The Rajasthan EV Policy includes two and three-wheelers also. The incentives offered by the Rajasthan are different compared to other states. As per the Transport Department of Rajasthan’s notification, the State GST amount will be reimbursed to the EV buyers.
On the basis of the battery capacity, Rajasthan will offer a lump sum to the Ev buyers. Vehicles that are purchased between 1st April 2024 and 31st March 2024 and registered till March 2024 will be eligible to receive this amount. To get the benefit of the Rajasthan EV Policy, Electrical vehicles must be purchased in Rajasthan only.
The grant transfer will be enabled via the concerned District Transport Officer. The SGST will be recharged by the vehicle’s seller, equal to the amount shown in the bill.
