Price of the New Honda Hornet 2.0 Based CB200X ADV in India, Specifications, and Features India Highlights of the launch: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has finally released the CB200X, its most affordable ADV. In the segment, the bike will compete with the Hero XPulse and the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The said vehicle was previously rumored to be called the Honda NX200 because the brand had trademarked the term, however that did not happen. The new Honda CB200X is priced at Rs 1,44,500 (ex-showroom, Gurugram) and comes in three color options: Pearl Nightstar Black, Sports Red, and Matte Selene Silver Metallic. The CB200X comes with knuckle guards with integrated turn indicators, dual-purpose tyres, USD forks, a fuel tank mounted key, all-LED lighting, and an all-digital instrument panel. Here are the highlights from the launch.
A tall visor lets the rider to maneuver freely with minimal resistance and adds to the motorcycle’s overall appearance.
The all-new CB200X includes knuckle coverings with integrated LED winkers. They not only shield the rider from the elements, but they also lend a touch of daring to the overall package.
The long and comfy Sporty Split Seat (613mm) keeps both the rider and pillion at rest. A seat height of 810 mm promotes riding confidence and comfort.
Nothing says “strong with plenty of style” like the CB200X. The one-of-a-kind lightweight elegant 5Y Shaped Alloy Wheels improve overall ride quality and handling on uneven difficult terrain.
The Golden Upside Down (USD) front forks and Mono-Shock Rear Suspension provide steering precision. The Fully Digital Liquid Crystal Meter, which improves visibility in both bright and dark circumstances, complements both form and functionality. Key information such as the Gear Position Indicator, Service Due Indicator, and Battery Voltmeter are also displayed on the 5-level adjustable brightness LCD.
The CB200X is outfitted with all-LED illumination (LED headlamp with position lamp, LED winkers and iconic X-Shaped LED tail lamp). Tough tread pattern tyres (Front 110mm and Rear 140mm) provide outstanding street performance and plenty of grip. Petal Disc Brakes (Front and Rear) with ABS are standard on the CB200X.
While the Engine Stop Switch makes it easy to cut off the ignition with a single flick, the Hazard Switch feature improves rider safety in poor visibility conditions. The key on tank placement enhances the rider’s streetfighter character while also increasing convenience.’
New CB200X has BS6 Engine
The BS6-compliant engine is powered by 184cc PGM-FI engine, which puts out 12.7 kW and 16.1 Nm. Diamond-type steel frame ensures outstanding stability and agile handling.
Honda is offering 6-year warranty package (3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty*) on CB200X. The new CB200X will be available in three colors – Pearl Nightstar Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic and Sports Red.
