YS Jagan Birthday: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is celebrating his 48th birthday today. He entered politics as the successor of the former combined Andhra Pradesh CM YS Rajashekhar Reddy (YSR). Jagan has formed a special fan following on his own. He set up his own party and went to overcome the difficulties. YS Jagan has been the opposition leader for five years since 2014. He met the people and inquired about their problems. In the 2019 assembly elections, Jagan won as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh win the huge majority.

Entry To Politics
YS Jaganmohanreddy entered politics as the successor of the Congress leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy. In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Jagan was elected as an MP from Kadapa. However, YSR became the CM for the second time in 2009 and died a few days later. With this, Jagan started a consolation trip to visit the fans who could not bear his father’s death. On the other hand, he did not get the position he hoped for in the Congress party. Following these developments, the winning MP from the Congress party has resigned and formed a new political party named YSR Congress.
Then, some Congress leaders walked along with Jagan. In the by-elections that followed, the YCP bagged a big victory. YS Jagan as MP from Kadapa and his mother Vijayamman as Pulivendula MLA won by a huge majority. Later, he was arrested by the CBI in the illegal assets case. He was sentenced to 16 months and later released on bail. At that time, Vijayamma took charge of the YSR Congress Party.
Two years before the 2019 elections, Jagan launched Prajasankalpayatra, a walk that is stretched over 3000 km. He continued listening to the problems of the people. In the 2019 Assembly elections, YS Jagan was sworn in as CM of Andhra Pradesh with 151 seats.

On the occasion of AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s 48th birthday, his fans, YCP activists, and members are celebrating this day in many parts of the state. YS Avinash Reddy, YS Abhishek Reddy, and YS Manohar Reddy cut a huge cake of 48 kg weight at the YSS Auditorium, Kadapa district on the occasion of Cm Jagan’s birthday. MP YS Avinash Reddy inaugurated a mega blood donation camp which is organized under the YCP. On the other hand, many celebrities are sending their wishes to CM Jagan.
