Repeat Movie Story

A novelist Subramanyam (Achyuth Kumar) seeks the help of the police as the characters in his imaginary stories threaten him by coming to life. The police don’t believe in him, but things become shocking when the DGP Asha Pramod’s (Madhoo) daughter is missed in the same way the novelist penned the story. The police believe Subramanyam is the person behind DGP’s daughter’s missing, but they can not get the necessary proof. Hence an undercover cop Vikram Hence, an undercover cop Vikram Kumar (Naveen Chandra) handles the job. Did Vikram solve this mystery? How do the novelist’s stories are turning out to be true? forms the base plot of the Repeat movie.

• Naveen Chandra performed the given role with ease. His mannerisms and body language perfectly suit the cop’s role
• The second half is good as the twists unravel one by one
• The movie becomes interesting near the completion and the final twist is solid
• The manner in which the dots are connected is good
• The comedy is situational and decent

Ghibran’s background score is good and the PG Muthaiah’s cinematography is decent. Director Arvindh Srinivasan has done an okay job with this movie. His concept looks fine but the execution was not that great.
