According to sources, actor Sidharth Shukla’s autopsy was completed last night at a Mumbai hospital and “no injuries were found,” adding that a viscera analysis will determine the cause of his death.
The sudden death of the 40-year-old TV and movie actor on Thursday, reportedly due to a cardiac arrest, shocked his fans and left the entertainment industry mourning the loss of a hugely popular star.
The post-mortem was performed by a team of three doctors and was videotaped. According to sources, “no external or internal injuries were discovered.”
The viscera samples were sent to be chemically analysed. “A histopathology will be performed, and only then will the cause of death be determined,” the sources said.
Sidharth Shukla was brought to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital by his family around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. According to the hospital, he was brought dead.
Initially, doctors suspected a heart attack, but the autopsy report would determine the cause of death.
According to his friends, Sidharth Shukla had complained of feeling uneasy the night before. He went back to bed after eating and drinking something.
When he did not wake up in the morning, the family doctor was contacted, and the doctor advised the family to take him to the hospital right away.
