Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar passed away because of a fatal cardiac arrest on 29th October 2024. The actor was reportedly working out in his gym when he collapsed suddenly. Immediately, he was rushed to a hospital. Later that, Puneet was admitted to Vikram hospital and was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) until the demise. At this time, he was 45 years old.
The news of Puneet Rajkumar’s passing has shaken the entire film fraternity. Puneet’s older brother Shiva Rajkumar and his family members were seen entering the hospital. Actors Yash, Darshan, and many others have also reached the hospital soon. Karnataka Chief Minister, Basavaraj Bommai was also present at the hospital.
Puneet Rajkumar was popularly known as the Powerstar, Appu. He was an incredibly beloved superstar and received tremendous appreciation from everyone.
Puneeth Rajkumar had recently wrapped up the James movie shoot with director Chethan Kumar and was to begin work on Dvitva. Puneeth’s most recent release is ‘Yuvarathnaa’.
