Rahul Gandhi: On Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) and its ideology have been pushing our country towards a catastrophe. While addressing a rally in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Gandhi alleged that the BJP is dividing India into two parts, one belongs to a few billionaires and the one for crores of poor people.
Rahul Gandhi said, “BJP is dividing our country into two nations – one with selected billionaires, some 100-500 people, and the other with poor people. They think poor people are scared but they are not scared of anyone. Development is not the gift of any party but the efforts of the poor. The poor people of the country have brought India so far in the past 70 years”.
Rahul Gandhi claimed that the 100 richest people in the country have more wealth than the 40% poor people of this country.
The Wayanad MP also said, “We want entire country development, not just a few handful businessmen. Hindustan is a bouquet of various ideologies, languages, cultures but they want a single ideology to rule over it. We will not let it happen and show BJP the true Hindustan”.
Earlier today, Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi slammed the Congress party and said that it has to come out of its ‘Indira is India’ mindset as there are no two Indias.
