In its 21st edition, ‘Voice of Hind,’ the ISKP’s India mouthpiece, featured an image of a hawker being shot from behind. “WE ARE COMING,” reads the caption on the photo.
The ISKP also released a video of a shooting that occurred in Jammu and Kashmir following the death of a non-local street vendor.
In the magazine, there is a picture of Hindu deities holding a trident, implying that they are the intended targets. Security forces recently apprehended a large number of terrorists planning bombings during the holiday season.
Since February 2020, ISKP’s Voice of Hind magazine has been a major source of radicalization for Muslim youth in the Valley.
ISKP sleeper cells can be found throughout the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorist organisations, according to security agencies, may engage in terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
Assassinations in Kashmir with a specific goal in mind
Terrorists in Kashmir have killed 11 people in the last 15 days, including five foreigners. Terrorists killed two non-local workers and injured a third on Sunday in the south Kashmir district of Kulgam.
Terrorists killed a street hawker from Bihar and a labourer from Uttar Pradesh in separate attacks last Saturday. Terrorists shot and killed Bihar street hawker Virendra Paswan earlier this month in Srinagar’s Eidgah district.
Attacks on civilians have prompted security agencies to increase their efforts to combat militant activity in the Valley and beef up their security. According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, thirteen terrorists were killed in nine encounters in the union territory in the last nine days.
