The Love Story movie takes us through the journey of lovers as they eventually try to achieve their dreams.
Love Story Movie Review: Analysis
Sensible director Sekhar Kammula chosen a complex story this time. He established the caste-based status differences in a smart way. Naga Chaitanya played a self-confident, charming Revanth role with ease. Sai Pallavi is the perfect fit for the well-balanced young woman, Mounika role.
Love Story Telugu movie is not a regular love story. The first half entertains well whereas the second half has some good moments. The back-story of Mounika is hard-hitting. The love story team deserves appreciation for having the guts to bring up society’s darker issues. In some places, the film loses its momentum.
Love Story Telugu Movie Review: Performances
Naga Chaitanya did a great job as Revanth. Sai Pallavi also excelled as Mounika and is a great asset to the film. Devayani and Eswari Rao did well in mother roles. Uttej performed a crucial small role and Rajiv Kanakal also justified his role. Music director Pawan did a fabulous job. The blockbuster audio songs are well on screen also.
Positive Aspects
- Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi performances
- Songs and picturization
- Some entertaining moments
- Sekhar Kammula’s trademark dialogues
- Clean film
Negative Aspects
- Slow-paced some times
- A serious dark theme can be difficult for a commercial audience
Love Story Review: Conclusion
‘Love Story’ is entertaining in the first half and has some pleasant moments in the second half. The last half an hour movie is high on emotions and gets into a dark theme. Youth audiences may find it difficult due to the slow pace but the good songs compensate for that. Overall, the Love Story movie is a good watch for the family audience and for fans of Sekhar Kammula, Naga Chaitanya, and Sai Pallavi.
