Career
Following his education, Narendra Modi joined the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. When he moved to Ahmedabad, he joined a Hindu nationalist political party. During the National Emergency enforced by Indira Gandhi, the Prime Minister at the time, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was prohibited from 1975 to 1977. As a result, Modi Ji was forced to remain underground. Modi then conducted war to relocate his stronghold. Modi ji was a vocal opponent of the Emergency. They used a range of techniques, including the distribution of pamphlets, to challenge the administration of the time.
In 1987, Modi Ji joined the BJP-Bharatiya Janata Party and quickly ascended through the ranks. Modi Ji is a well-educated person.
