Career

Following his education, Narendra Modi joined the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. When he moved to Ahmedabad, he joined a Hindu nationalist political party. During the National Emergency enforced by Indira Gandhi, the Prime Minister at the time, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was prohibited from 1975 to 1977. As a result, Modi Ji was forced to remain underground. Modi then conducted war to relocate his stronghold. Modi ji was a vocal opponent of the Emergency. They used a range of techniques, including the distribution of pamphlets, to challenge the administration of the time.

In 1987, Modi Ji joined the BJP-Bharatiya Janata Party and quickly ascended through the ranks. Modi Ji is a well-educated person. That same year, he was elected general secretary of the party’s Gujarat unit. The party recognised Modi’s potential after working with LK Advani’s Ayodhya Rath Yatra in 1990, his first national level. transformed into a political protest. Son had won the elections in 1995 with 121 seats. A puzzle bar BJP government was then constituted in Gujarat. Despite having been in control for some time, the party was eventually disbanded in 1996. Narendra Modi was elected to the Legislative Assembly in 2001. Modi ji was elected Gujarat’s Chief Minister after winning one of Rajkot’s two seats. Keshubhai Patel’s health was deteriorating at the time, causing the BJP to lose certain state assembly seats. On October 7, 2001, Modi was sworn in as Gujarat’s Chief Minister. Following this, his victory became increasingly certain. In June, a year after becoming Gujarat’s Chief Minister for the fourth time, Narendra Modi was named President of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He also ran for prime minister in similar manner in the 2014 general election. As a result, Modi jihaded to quit as Chief Minister of Gujarat. Some BJP members, notably Lal Krishna Advani, were opposed at the time.

Modi Ji held around 437 election rallies across the country during this election. During these rallies, he addressed a variety of concerns to the people in order to persuade them to vote for the BJP. The BJP’s victory in the 2014 general election proved a historic victory. Modi Ji’s brilliance was once again clouded in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Other parties lagged far behind Modi’s movement. Narendra Modi Ji won an astounding 303 seats with an absolute majority. This is the first time in Indian history that a leader has won such a large victory with an absolute majority on both occasions.
