TCS: 25% of employees are enough
Most companies not only in India but globally are actively consulting on the hybrid work model to reduce costs and increase work efficiency. Prior to Corona, all employees were required to come and work in the office, and some companies operated without the Work From Home option due to security concerns.
But it all turned out to be the corona infection, and since the beginning of 2020 the staff has been working from home not only in India but all over the world.
Work From Home method
While this Work From Home method has been unexpectedly successful, all the major tech companies are now actively implementing the hybrid work model, including TCS, one of India’s leading IT service and software exporter.
Hybrid Work Model
The hybrid work model is that in a company only a certain percentage of employees will come to work in the office and all other employees will work from home. Otherwise employees will come and go to the office in rotation mode.
Conclusion of TCS
TCS has been planning to bring this as a permanent work model for all leading companies since. TCS employees are thrilled that TCS has now made an important announcement in this regard. What can I say like that ..?
Corona infection
While IT employees have been realizing the benefits of working from home (hometown) for the past 1.5 years due to the corona infection, part of the staff are now being called to the office. Thus this announcement will be a great pleasant surprise for TCS employees who come to cities from their hometowns to work with a narrow mind.
Vision 25/25
Everyone knows that TCS recently announced that all employees should come to the office by 2024 and now plans to complete its Vision 25/25 project by 2025.
Only 25 percent of employees
That means only 25 per cent of the total number of employees should come to the office, similarly top executives should spend only 25 per cent of their working time in the office, similarly only 25 per cent of the staff should come to the office for each project. This project is Vision 25/25.
Rajesh Gopinathan, CEO, TCS Rajesh Gopinathan, CEO, TCS, spoke on the Vision 25/25 plan during the release of its 2020 financial statement, and has spoken about it several times. Rajesh Gopinathan said at the next meeting that the work model was well received by his clients.
Vision in 2025
25/25 Plan As TCS currently plans to fully implement this Vision 25/25 plan by 2025, there is a chance that more employees will have permanent work-from-home availability. It benefits and benefits not only the employees but also the companies in many ways.
Wipro, HCL and similar work models are being planned by Wipro and HCL. In any case, it is mandatory for all IT employees to come to the office within the next one year without any change. After this it is up to the employees to get permanent Work From Home.
