Suzuki V-Strom 250: Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited has launched the all-new V-Strom in the country. This quarter-liter adventure tourer has been tagged at a price of 2.11 lakh INR. The V-Strom 250 will be available at all Suzuki Premium dealerships across the country and will rival the likes of the Benelli TRK 251, KTM 250 Adventure, etc.
The India-spec Suzuki V-Strom 250 is vastly different from the abroad ones. It is based on the Gixxer 250 range’s platform and shares its mechanicals. In terms of design, the motorcycle has a tall visor, split-seat set-up, knuckle guards, all-LED headlamp, etc. The V-Strom 250 is available in three colors, namely Pearl Blaze Orange, Champion Yellow, and Glass Sparkle Black.
Powering the v-Strom 250 is the same 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that wors in the quarter-liter Gixxers too. This motor develops 22.2 Nm of peak torque at 7,300 RPM, and 26.1 hp at 9,300 RPM, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. For braking duties, the motorcycle features disc brakes at either end along with dual-channel ABS.
