Chandrababu unveiled the TDP manifesto to come into power in the 2024 elections. To secure power in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh elections, Chandrababu revealed a mini-manifesto ensuring a guarantee for the future. He highlighted six major initiatives, aiming to address various sectors and uplift different sections of society.
Empowering the Poor:
The TDP government will work towards elevating the status of the poor. It promises to increase the income of the poor within five years. In the mini-manifesto, Chandrababu introduced the ‘Nayudu Poor to Rich’ program. This program aims to uplift the poor by enabling them to generate wealth, thereby advancing the agenda of the TDP government.
Safeguarding BCs:
The TDP will enact legislation to protect BCs in all aspects. The party stands firm against atrocities committed by the YSRCP government. 26 BCs have been killed in the YSRCP regime. Cases have been filed against 650 leaders. In the state, 43 incidents of violence against Muslim minorities have occurred. Taking a strong stance, the TDP will implement BC protection laws, ensuring their safety and security.
Water to Every Home:
Chandrababu, upon assuming power, has already initiated the “Good Water for Every Home” program. Under this initiative, every household will receive a water connection, as promised by the Telugu Desam. Chandrababu has clarified that every household will receive a water connection, ensuring access to clean water.
Farmer Support:
Under this program, every farmer in Andhra Pradesh will receive an economic benefit of Rs. 20,000 annually. The Telugu Desam government has made this decision. The state has decided to provide economic assistance to farmers under the Farmer Support Program.
Women Empowerment:
To attract female voters, Chandrababu has introduced the ‘Mahashakti’ program. Through this initiative, the party will implement policies to empower women, providing financial assistance to women aged 18 and above through the ‘Streenidhi’ program. Additionally, under the ‘Mother’s Pride’ program, households with school-going children will receive Rs. 15,000 annually per child. Furthermore, under the ‘Deepam’ program, every family will receive three gas cylinders free of cost. Women will enjoy free travel on local buses through the ‘Free Bus Travel’ program.
Youth Development:
To address unemployment in Andhra Pradesh, the TDP government will create 20 lakh jobs for the youth. Each unemployed person will receive Rs. 3,000 per month under the ‘Youth Fund’ program.
