UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is a national level examination conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) twice every year. Eligibility Criteria For UGC NET 2024
Before proceeding with the UGC NET Application Form 2024, everyone must check out the required eligibility.
Educational Qualifications: Aspirants must have a master’s degree or any equivalent from the recognized university or institution with 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates). Final year appearing students are also eligible to apply for UGC NET.
Age Limit: No age restrictions are there for Assistant Professor, but for JRF, candidates’ age should not exceed 31 years. There is a relaxation of 5 years for reserved category (SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC NCL, and Women) candidates.
