Devendra Fadnavis’s underworld connections will be revealed.” According to Mr. Malik, who spoke earlier today at a press conference. “Devendra Fadnavis has associated my name with criminals and the underworld in order to tarnish my reputation. My house had been searched, and the police claimed that drugs were discovered there. I’ll take him to court with legal papers.” He continued after that.
Nawab Malik initially claimed that Devendra Fadnavis appeared in an illegal music video funded by a convicted drug smuggler. Mr. Fadnavis described his own reaction as “laughable.”
Mr Malik was said to be merely attempting to persuade the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to reduce the charges against his son-in-law.
The NCB arrested Sameer Khan, the son-in-law of a Maharashtra cabinet minister, earlier this year, and he was granted bail by a court.
Since the BJP’s election, the Minister of State for Drug Control and Law Enforcement has levelled several lurid allegations against it.
