The second season of Bridgerton releases on March 25 on Netflix globally. But it isn’t out in India yet.
Fans in India have to wait more hours to watch the much-anticipated show.
Bridgerton Season 1 Recap
The series follows the story of the Bridgerton family, led by Lady Bridgerton and her alphabetically named eight children.
In the first episode, Daphne debuts on London’s weeding market, and she is termed a flawless beauty by the Queen. Soon, the news of Lady grabs everyone’s attention as she praises Daphne and also brings their attention to Duke of Hastings who has just headed back to Ton, and is being eyed by the ‘Mothers’ of the prospective brides in London.
Daphne and Duke strike each other where they were pretending formal but, as we all know it hardly takes time for the pretentious relationship to turn into a passionate affair. However, the Duke hasn’t planned to become a father because of a vow.
Later, when she finds out she feels cheated, causing a rift between the couple. Throughout the first season, everyone is unaware of who is the author but at the end, it is revealed to the viewers that Eloise’s BFF, Penelope Featherington is Lady Whistledown.
Daphne’s elder brother Anthony Bridgerton will be seen as the center of attraction in Season 2. He is also not interested in getting married just like Simon. He is seen in an affair with an opera singer in Season 1, though he doesn’t believe in love.
The series has full-on pride and prejudice feels loaded with bold scenes. Bridgerton is set in the alternative history of racially-integrated London.
