IAS Pradeep Gawande has grabbed the nation’s attention as he is going to marry the first Dalit IAS female officer of India, Tina Dabi. She is a renowned IAS officer and an inspiration UPSC candidate of all time. She was just 22 when she topped the UPSC exams. Earlier, she was married to Athar Amir Khan who was an IAS topper in 2015 UPSC Civil Services.

Early Life and Family
IAS Pradeep Gawande was born on 9th December 1980 and hails from the Latur district of Maharashtra. He is 39 years old.
His Father is Keshaorao Gawande and his mother is Satyabhama Gawande. He has typical Marathi roots and belongs to an upper-middle-class family. He is currently situated in Pune with his family.
Earlier, he was a doctor by profession. Pradeep completed his MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Aurangabad, and started practicing as a doctor.
Education
Pradeep practiced in various hospitals in Delhi as a doctor. One day, he decided to appear for UPSC Civil Services. He secured AIR 478 in the UPSC exam in 2012 and became an IAS officer of the 2013 batch.
Even though he was a doctor in his early life, Pradeep always dreamt of serving the country by becoming a civil servant officer. He got selected as District Collector of Churu district in Rajasthan Cadre, post his selection in the UPSC exam. Currently, he is posted as Director of Archaeology and Museums in Rajasthan. He is three years
senior to her fiancé.
Some controversies were also raised against him when he was selected as MD of Rajasthan Skill and livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC) Jaipur. He was questioned by Anti – Corruption Bureau (ACB) in a case related to bribery. Eight more suspects were also questioned at the time with Gawande.
IAS Pradeep Gawande is going to marry Tina Dabi. They will get married in Jaipur on April 22, 2024. Tina announced her engagement with Pradeep on March 28, 2024, on Instagram. She said that she met Pradeep during the pandemic in the health department of Jaipur.
She also confirmed to the nation that Pradeep isn’t married earlier. Also, there are no details shared by him on any social media platform about his early married life. However, this will be Tina’s second marriage.
