WhatsApp’s New Update
A new change is being made in the feature of sending photos in the WhatsApp processor. While not yet complete, this feature is being released in beta for the first time. This feature offers three options when sending photos to the processor.
The quality of photos sent so far on the WhatsApp processor will be automatically reduced. This situation is about to change soon. This new feature is provided in the version of WhatsApp Beta v2.21.14.16. Users can enable this feature by clicking on the Photo Upload Quality options in the Storage – Data menu. Clicking on the previous options makes WhatsApp a way to send photos in three grades as Auto, Best Quality, and Data Saver.
Auto: WhatsApp will find and send the best selection for each photo
Best Quality: WhatsApp sends a high-quality photo
Data saver: Reduces the size of photos and sends them faster. Doing so will reduce the quality of the photo.
In the previous beta, WhatsApp not only sent high-quality photos but also videos. Both features are currently being tested. It looks like these will be offered in WhatsApp stable version soon.
WhatsApp explains the implementation of new privacy policies in India.
WhatsApp has told the Delhi High Court that it will not implement the new privacy policies until the Personal Information Protection Bill becomes law in India. WhatsApp’s revised privacy policy has met with great opposition among the people of the country.
The federal government had insisted that WhatsApp withdraw its new privacy policies. The lawsuit was probably funded by WhatsApp. Senior lawyer Harish Salve, who argued on behalf of WhatsApp in the case, said, “WhatsApp does not currently implement its new policies.”
“In addition, those who do not approve of the new policies can continue to use all aspects of the processor without any restrictions,” WhatsApp told the Federal Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
The status of the SMS sent to the WhatsApp processor is indicated by a tick. Two ticks will appear when the SMS currently sent on the WhatsApp processor goes to others. Ticks will turn blue if the message was read. In this case, the information that the WhatsApp tick system has been modified is crawling on the WhatsApp processor. Accordingly, the government is said to take action if two blue dicks and one red dick are sent to the sent SMS. The state is said to be prosecuted under the law if three more Red Dicks arrive.
The information that the federal government is taking care of the information sent by users on the WhatsApp processor is going viral.
In India, regulatory provisions have been enacted, such as the deletion of records indicating that officials are controversial in the information posted on social networking sites and OTD sites and that the companies involved must inform the authorities of who posted the contentious information first.
There is a legal battle going on between WhatsApp and the federal government against this. In this case, the government is taking care of WhatsApp conversations, the new tick system has come into effect, according to viral reports. Similar information has already gone viral many times.
