The advancements came a day in the wake of Beijing’s Taiwan Affairs Office representative, Zhu Fenglian said that the “Taiwan locale’s” investment in APEC exercises should be founded on the “one China” standard, Taiwan News detailed.
“Since Taiwan joined APEC in 1991, it has taken part in the monetary and exchange discussion as a full part,” the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said in an assertion. “Taiwan partakes in a similar status and has similar commitments as all individuals.
