Story
Mahesh (Satya) is a lower-middle-class guy who works as a LIC agent in Hyderabad. He is a miser but he always says that he is just ‘careful’ with his money. Mahesh falls in love with Anitha (Aarjavee Raj) who is from a rich family belonging to Vijayawada. Her father Venkateswara Rao (Srikanth Iyengar) unwillingly agrees to their marriage. According to the tradition of the bride’s family, the groom has to carry out formalities of engagement and wedding. As Mahesh has no choice, so he agrees reluctantly.
To know, what happens when Covid-19 strikes the city at the time of the wedding, and other details watch the film on Sony LIV.
Positives
Satya steals the show with a spirited performance. His desperate attempts to reduce expenses while hosting Anitha’s family will put a smile on audiences’ faces.
Newcomer Aarjavee Raj as Anitha performs well in her role. Sudarshan, Srikanth Iyengar, and Shivannarayana do justice for their roles.
Producer Sundeep Kishan makes a cameo appearance as Nellore Prabha and he impresses with his Nellore slang.
Negatives
The illogical and unrealistic setup and characterization of lead actors offer a tasteless wedding feast. The reason why Anitha falls in love with a miser Mahesh is not convincing at all.
Technical Aspects
The primary drawback of the Vivaha Bhojanambu movie is illogical and silly writing. The screenplay is also predictable. The cinematography, editing, and music are decent. The production values are also somewhat good.
