VISAKHAPATNAM: Chandanotsavam was held with no M Srinivasa Rao On Friday, because of the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the temple convention, Dharmakartha Sanchaita Gajapati had the first darshan of the deity on Friday. Later, the tourism ministry, the largest yearly festival of Sri Varaha Simhachalam Offered silk clothes to this deity on behalf of the state government. This is the second straight year that the festival, which two lakh devotees generally attend, held ‘ekantham’ because of the pandemic situation.temple at devotees
